Louis has been a Physiotherapist for 10 years, graduating from King's College London in 2008. He spent the next two and a half years gaining experience in a wide range of Physiotherapy specialities within the NHS, including musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation, care of the elderly, respiratory / intensive care and community rehabilitation. This gave him exposure to a variety of health conditions and how they are managed in the context of a multidisciplinary health team.

 

Louis then went on to specialise in musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, where he has worked since. He has worked in numerous hospitals and clinics in and around London and the rest of the country. To advance his knowledge and clinical practice he completed numerous post-graduate qualifications & courses including:-

 

  • Post Graduate Certificate in Pain Management

  • AACP Certficate in Western Medical Acupuncture

  • Certificate in Spinal Manual Therapy

  • Diploma (level 3) in Sports Massage

  • Certficate in Osteopathic Spinal Manipulation

  • Spinal Manipulation: Facilitating Rehabilitation

  • The Neck: Clinical Rehabilitation

 

Louis developed a passion for working with patients suffering with persistent pain conditions such as chronic low back pain, Fibromyalgia and Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). This lead him to go courses in 'Cognitive Functional Therapy' (CFT), 'Pain Neuroscience Education' (PNE) and 'Cognitive-Behavioural Approach to the Management of Pain' aiming to help his patients further. 
 

Most recently Louis embarked on a Masters degree in Pain Management at Cardiff University, where he has just completed his first year gaining a Postgraduate certificate with distinction. He is excited to continue his academic journey with the key driver being to be a more effective clinician and help more people in their recovery.

Sumeer has been a Physiotherapist for 11 years, graduating from King's College London in 2008. He spent the next few years carrying out rotations and gaining experience in a variety of different areas including musculoskeletal outpatients, orthopaedics, neurological rehabilitation, stroke, care of the elderly, respiratory/critical care and community rehabilitation.

 

Following this Sumeer went onto become a senior physio specialising in the musculoskeletal area. He has worked in the NHS, private sector and sports. This has allowed him to gain experience in treating a large variety of patients. 

 

He has also carried out a number of post graduate training courses, which include.

 

  • APPI Pilates Mat work 1

  • Foundations acupuncture course

  • Mulligans concept- mobilisation with movement

  • Anterior knee pain- Assessment and treatment

  • Problem solving the shoulder

  • Sports taping

  • Clinical reasoning the spine

Sumeer has a special interest in sports injuries, orthopaedics, lower limb and lower back pain. He is also currently working with complex and persistent pain patients. He has applied to start carrying out masters modules in different subjects that relate to musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He still has a great enthusiasm for physiotherapy and helping people. His experience and ongoing studies will continue to help him maintain high patient satisfaction.
